【摘要】:ThisisaspecializedbendtestfornonorientedelectricalsteelnotcoveredundertheprovisionsofTestMethodsE290.ThistestisapplicabletononorientedsiliconsteelsuchasdescribedinSpecificationsA677/A677MandA683/A683Mincommercialthicknesses.Itisnotintendedtobeappliedtosteelsconsideredinherentlyductile.1.1ThistestmethodcoversdeterminationofductilityutilizingEpsteinteststripsandabendingdeviceforbendingthestripoverapredeterminedradius.Itisintendedforcommercialsilicon-bearingsteelsheetorstripofnonorientedtypesinthethicknessrangefrom0.010to0.031in.[0.25to0.79mm],inclusive.1.2Thevaluesandequationsstatedincustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)orSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthistestmethod,SIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththistestmethod.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
