【摘要】:Onsomeapplicationsofthreadedfasteners,itisdesirabletocontroleithertheamountofdevelopedtensionwhenaspecifiedrangeoftorquehasbeenappliedorthetorquerequiredtodevelopaspecifiedrangeoftension.Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheeffectofusingadhesivesonthetorque-tensionrelationshipofthreadedfasteners.Accuratetorque-tensionrelationshipsmaybemeasuredonlybydefiningandcontrollingthemanyrelatedtestparameters.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetorque-tensionrelationship(lubricity)ofadhesivesusedforlockingandsealingthreadedfasteners.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
